Learning to Drive

Choosing The Right Instructor

All of our instructors are patient, friendly and reliable. All the cars are dual-controlled, air-conditioned and insured appropriately for teaching purposes. All of the lessons are one to one and your training will be structured to ensure the whole syllabus is covered. We have a strict 'no smoking in the car' policy.

We offer full 1 hour, 11/2 or 2 hour lessons with either a female or male instructor. On your first lesson your instructor will issue you with a Ladybird Appointment and Track Record Card so you can keep a true record of your progress.

On your first lesson your instructor will establish your level of driving experience and will decide the best location for you. For example, if you are a complete beginner you would start off in a quiet safe area so as not to be put under any pressure that you could not cope with. We believe building confidence in the pupil is one of many important areas for future development in each pupil.

Before you can learn to drive you will need to apply for a provisional driving licence. You will need to complete a D1 driving licence application form which is available from most post offices or apply online.
